This is a good book with a fine message. My 4 year old is crazy for Batman and loves this whole series so was thrilled when the Easter Bunny completed his set with this one. The message is that the young Batman cannot neglect his studies even for crime-fighting. There also is a great line about always listening to your mother which my son thought was funny but also got the point.
