Turn Your Pain Into Art eBook Ariel Bloomer

I can’t stop thinking about how amazing “Turn Your Pain Into Art” is!

Through writing about her life experiences, Ariel writes what I consider to be one of the most refreshing outlooks on mental health in a world where many refuse to address it, religion in a world where it’s sometimes difficult to discuss, and being an artist in a world that seems to be valuing art less and less. Although the experiences she writes about are uniquely her own, her ability to offer honest and straightforward tips and methods on how to self-evaluate then navigate these oftentimes complex and deeply individual struggles is truly inspirational. She strikes a near perfect balance in taking these issues head-on and opens them up for reflection, both inwardly and outwardly.

Having been a fan of Icon For Hire going on 6+ years now, I’m no stranger to Ariel and her ability to translate her life experiences into music as well as her podcast/YouTube channel, The REL show. To me, part of what made TYPIA so awesome was that it felt like Ariel was able to expand her thoughts in long form and provide us with so much more of her enthusiasm for helping others be the best they can be.

Thank you Ariel for writing this incredible book! “Turn Your Pain Into Art” has and will continue to help people just as you have already helped so many empower themselves through your art.

Turn Your Pain Into Art eBook Ariel Bloomer Reviews

I’m still reading, but completely hooked! I NEVER make time for reading, while it is a leasurerly activty I enjoy, and I tried to read this whenever I had a decent chunk of time. When I say never, I mean a family member wrote a book that I’m enjoying, but stopped reading it so I could read this to completion.

Her music, her lyrics have always spoke to my heart in a way that wasn’t painful. Sometimes reading or hearing something I really relate to in regards to my mental illness makes me burst into tears, but she somehow softens that blow. These pictures(which I cropped as much as possible for minimal spoilers. Seriously, just buy it if you feel it resonates with you. You won’t regret it) are of the passage that I felt is the core of my problems, and for once I felt relief reading it in prose.

I never take time for self-love. Right now, my self-love is taking about an hour or so out of life’s craziness to read this book and listen to light music. I’m 26 and have been fighting even coming to terms with the fact I have a problem. Only in the last year or so have I tried to improve my quality of life. I feel like this book came out just in time to guide me the rest of the way of my journey and help get off medication.

(Note to Ariel I follow you on IG and I know you read the reviews. I try to tag your book every opportunity I can, especially if I read by the pool or beach. I live in Florida and seeing you on March 27 will be my first time. I really wish I could have afforded the VIP access. I love you anyway ;] (even though I’m pretty sure you don’t have much control over those prices. I’m teasing. Promise💜)
You were right your entire life when you thought people would care about your story. I know I wanted to know more about this pink-haired woman that had beautiful insight and talent. I’m proud of you for making it to this day, fighting to make music your way, writing this book, and most importantly giving back to the world. You, just you alone, have saved many lives and improved countless more. You deserve everything good thing that comes your way.)
Ariel isn't stressing, obsessing over who she's not impressing and neither will you once you give this a read. Take it from someone who has been judged their whole life on every little thing they do. There were few things that could open my eyes and say "You are worth loving." How many times have you looked in the mirror and criticized yourself? Is there a voice in your head that keeps putting you down? Ariel Bloomer knows what that's like. She knows what it's like to beat yourself up and not be happy with yourself. There are so many people out there that just won't give themselves the opportunity to appreciate all the wonderful qualities that they have. But Turn Your Pain Into Art will open your heart to them. It will hit you like a ton of bricks and the road will be long but Ariel's words will show you how to make the best of that road and come out on top.

If you're already a fan of Icon For Hire, you'll love the first part of the book. It's much like an auto-biography on Ariel's experiences through her life and Icon For Hire. Hardcore fans will love hearing the answers to burning questions and learning just a little bit more about Ariel. I have to say that this was my favorite part. I completely forgot I was reading a self-help book. There are those with PHDs who claim to have all the answers. Very rarely do they often feel genuine. Ariel's words are like those of a friend. You're hanging out and having a heart-to-heart talk. It's every bit as emotional as it is hilarious and inspiring. You won't want it to end but it will and once it does you'll be greeted with Part Two that covers all of the self-help portions. You'll learn effective ways that start off so small as taking better care of yourself, your personal space and buying little things that inspire you and make you happy. You'll learn how to reprogram your thoughts into more positive ones and view the world with a bit more of a better outlook and learn a lot of new tips and tricks along the way. This book is especially great for those who love to create in their spare time. There's so much that you create that can be affected by self-love and you'll learn new things as a creative individual or struggling artist/musician at the same time as you learn how broaden your horizons on this crazy little thing we call life.

If you're not already a fan, you will be after giving this a read. I couldn't help read it from front to back in one sitting. I just couldn't put it down and once I did, I felt an insane amount of energy and motivation. I felt like I finally understood how to start accepting who I am and appreciating every little thing about me and I guarantee you will too. There's someone who wants you to and they speak to you through these pages. You're not alone on this journey. This journey of turning your pain into art.
