I bought this book awhile ago but because I've been very busy, I didn't read it until recently. I didn't know what to expect but let me just say it was a real surprise how thoroughly I enjoyed it. Once I started reading it I couldn't stop. Without giving too much away, the book takes you through the lives of 3 very different characters while also touching on some very emotional parts of their pasts. It was full of twists and turns that I didn't anticipate. I would highly recommend reading this and look forward to seeing what the author has planned next.

I recommend this book for anyone who has gone through life and experienced hardships in relationships (which is everyone). The author makes you see yourself in the characters. This was written so well that it is easily relatable and definitely a page-turner!
I picked up this book today, and was not able to put it down to do the things I needed to do today. Initially the story led me to a happy place, only to discover how cruel people and the world really is. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed it from the beginning to the end, and I look forward to reading more from Carmen Hendrix.
So, Carmen, which story will have a sequel??? Just as i got into the stories they ended. But i thoroughly enjoyed all three and look forward to the next set or one...
Another wonderful story from this author and I really enjoyed reading this book. Wish she had written more before going to her resting place. May you RIP
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was recommended by a friend. Very interesting and real life story lines. The author also left enough for a sequel.
This book was a very good read. I quickly went from one story to the next until I had finished the entire book. Believe me, once you start reading you’re not going to want to put it down.
I really liked this book. It is filled with 3 page turning short stories that keep you wanting to read just one more page and before you know it you've reached the end. The characters are well developed and it is easy to become emotionally invested in the main character of each story. I look forward to finding out what's to come for each of these engaging characters.
